This is an ideal kind of job for many of our retired members, who might be interested and may have the skills needed. St. John Ambulance has a contract for a home/resident medical alert product, primarily for seniors to alert in case of medical distress, a fall, etc and are currently seeking installers for these alert systems in people's homes and residences throughout BC. These jobs are Field Sales/Service Representatives for the Medical Alert Product. Not a technical job, but includes installation and explanation. They must have patience and be able to communicate well, as they will be interacting primarily with seniors. Following up on leads and making contact with senior centers and related businesses. They work around their own schedule, and are called upon as needed. Car, mobile phone and access to fax are required.
