Lt(N) the Rev Raymond H McColl

 

  

Visitation Sunday February 27, 4:30-6:00 in the Fireside Room, 1825 West 16th Ave.

Ray passed away suddenly while vacationing in California.  Predeceased by his wife Margaret, brother Stuart and parents Hugh and Helen McColl.  Born in Winnipeg , Ray attended the RCN College, U of Man, Union College of UBC, McGill, and U of Guelph. Ordained in 1946,  He served as a Lt(N) RCNVR, in the North Atlantic aboard the Corvette HMCS Lachute. Ray skippered the ‘Thomas Crosby IV’ on the north coast of BC and later served churches in Chateauguay PQ, London On, Kitchener On and Niagara Falls On. After retiring to Vancouver, he served as Chaplain of the Vancouver Naval Veterans, the Billy Bishop Legion and the Vancouver Zone of the RC Legion.

Survived by sons Hugh, John (Wendy), David (MiKyung) grandchildren Janie, Roman, Tamara, Markien and great grandson Greyden.

Memorial service Monday February 28, 2:00pm,
