King, H. Stephen

H. Stephen King, 83, passed away suddenly at home September 14th, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty, sons Ron (Shirley) and Greg (Cathy), and his grandchildren Michael, Jessica, and Gregorio. Born in Prince Rupert , Steve lived a full and active life: after naval service in WWII, he graduated from UBC commerce, had a long career in printing, was a 19 year member of the Vancouver Welsh Men's Choir, and an active volunteer and model ship builder at the Maritime Museum . Beloved husband, dedicated father, a friend to so many, his kind and generous spirit will live on in those of us whose lives he touched so deeply. Private family celebration of life will be held.

Steven was a Officers Mess Associate Member and regular attendee at lunch and Regimental Mess dinners up until a few years ago.
